What does a sleep consultant cost?
One-to-one virtual pediatric sleep consulting typically runs $200 to $1,200, and the difference is support hours — not plan quality. Littleu Consulting charges $249 for a custom plan with a strategy call, $449 for the newborn package, and $649 for full support with two weeks of daily messaging. Cost questions, answered
How much does a pediatric sleep consultant cost?
Most one-to-one virtual sleep consultants in North America charge between $200 and $1,200 depending on how much live support is included. At Littleu Consulting the tiers are $249 for a custom plan with a strategy call, $449 for the newborn package, and $649 for full support with two weeks of daily messaging. Every engagement starts with a free 15-minute call.
Why is there such a wide price range between consultants?
Price tracks support hours, not plan quality. A $200 package is usually a plan plus one call. A $1,000+ package usually includes several weeks of daily contact, or in-home visits with travel built in. The written plan is a fraction of the cost — the support window is what you are actually paying for.
Is a cheaper plan-only package enough?
It is enough if you have executed a behaviour plan before and can hold a change for five to seven nights without second-guessing it. If you have started and abandoned methods more than once, the plan is not what failed — the unsupported middle nights were, and the daily-messaging tier is the honest choice.
Are there hidden fees, travel charges, or subscriptions?
No. Pricing is flat and one-time, quoted in USD, with no travel fees because the service is fully virtual and no recurring subscription after the package ends. You keep the written plan permanently, including its troubleshooting sections for illness, travel, and future regressions.
Do sleep consultants take insurance or HSA/FSA funds?
Sleep consulting is generally not covered by health insurance, and it is not a medical service. Some families are able to apply flexible spending funds, but that depends entirely on your plan administrator — check before assuming it qualifies.
What does the free 15-minute call include?
A direct read on what is going wrong and what would fix it. If the answer is a schedule adjustment you can make on your own, that is what you will be told. The call exists to determine fit, not to run a sales script.
